The Beginner Mosaic Workshop is a comprehensive workshop that covers a brief
history of mosaic, the materials and tools used in mosaic, the grouts and adhesives
used in mosaic, and of course, allows students to make their own mosaic project
in the direct method of application.I call it a comprehensive class because
that is exactly what it is. My workshops are not project-based. After taking
the Beginner workshop, you will have the knowledge and the know-how necessary
to make almost any mosaic project using tile and china. The techniques you
learn in this class can be applied to many other types of projects including
the ever-popular tabletop, backsplashes, mirrors, floors, walls, birdbaths,
furniture, etc. As you will learn in class there are very few things that can't
be mosaic'd. Tuition is $105 and covers all your materials, tools and art piece.
