In the Advanced Workshop we learn how to adapt patterns and images into mosaic
design, cut and lay vitreous glass in the opus vermiculatum method and complete
your own artwork. Students can choose from six different images that I have approved
for the project. The Opus Vermiculatum technique of Mosaic is especially beautiful.
And as you might expect, it requires a little more skill than cutting tile
or china. Learning how to cut vitreous glass will take some time - then all
of a sudden, you will get the hang of it. Once it's completed, you will feel
a wonderful sense of accomplishment as you look at its beauty. Tuition is $75
and covers all your materials, tools, and art piece.
